Official Regulations – Tangier International Cup
Article 1 – Applicable Rules
The tournament will be conducted in accordance with the official FIFA rules and the regulations of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), with the following specific exceptions.
Article 2 – Refereeing
All matches will be officiated by certified and professional referees.
Article 3 – Team Staff
Each team may be supervised by a maximum of two coaches or technical staff members.
Article 4 – Age Categories
The tournament is open to the following categories:
U11 Boys: players born in 2015/2016
U13 Boys: players born in 2013/2014
Senior Women: no age limit.
Article 5 – Player Registration and Equipment
Upon arrival on the morning of May 1st, 2026, each team must provide:
A complete list of players, accompanied by licenses or passports
The date of birth of each player will be strictly verified
Any player exceeding the age limit will be immediately excluded. If discovered during the tournament, retroactive sanctions will be applied (3–0 forfeit loss or team disqualification)
Teams must specify the colors of their kits and present two different sets of jerseys (home and away)
Article 6 – Match Duration
Group stage: 2 x 25 minutes
Semi-finals and final: 2 x 25 minutes
A 5-minute break will be granted
between the two halves.
Article 7 – Ranking System
Win = 3 points
Draw = 1 point
Loss = 0 points
In the event of a tie between two or more teams, the following criteria will be applied in order:
Head-to-head result (goal difference)
Overall goal difference
Total goals scored
Best defense
Fair-play ranking (see Article 10)
Article 8 – Squad and Substitutions
Each team may register up to 17 players.
Substitutions are unlimited during the match.
Article 9 – Disciplinary Sanctions
A red card results in an automatic suspension for the next match.
A second red card results in permanent exclusion from the tournament.
The organizing committee reserves the right to increase the sanction depending on the severity of the offense.
Article 10 – Fair Play
The tournament promotes the values of respect, fairness, and unity.
Players, coaches, and supporters will be evaluated by referees and field coordinators. The fair-play ranking may be used to separate teams in the event of a tie.
Article 11 – Responsibility
Participating teams are advised to take the necessary precautions regarding the supervision and safety of their members and personal belongings throughout the tournament.
The provision of sports, administrative, and other facilities does not include their supervision or
safekeeping by the organizing committee.
The committee cannot, under any circumstances, be held responsible for any damage to or loss of personal or collective property belonging to participating teams.
